How these kits were selected
These are the first three in Best Spray Foam’s evidence-led order (Sep 7, 2026). The two publications share ownership. These are catalog options, not approval for a building or a whole-house insulation plan. Prices and customer ratings are dated observations and can change.

PLAN A SURFACE-SPRAY JOB
Know what to check.
Seven questions about the job, access and conditions. Get a useful next-step list.
MEASURE A SURFACE-SPRAY JOB
How much area? How much volume?
Add your surfaces, subtract openings and see the raw board feet. Keep the assumptions visible.
PUT A BUDGET TO IT
What could your project cost?
Use the area you plan to insulate and your own quoted rate. Choose a starting point.
HOME PROJECT
Your home
What could home insulation cost?Price the surfaces in your scope, then separate materials from installed work.
Build my budgetGARAGE PROJECT
Your garage
Build a garage insulation budget.Measure the walls or ceiling you will actually insulate, with doors and openings excluded.
Build my budgetSHED / WORKSHOP
Your shed
What would your shed project take?Start with the shell, planned thickness and the costs your quote includes.
Build my budgetSTART WITH THE RIGHT SCOPE
The surface, the format, then the budget.
A few accessible surfaces and a whole-house insulation job are different scopes. Before ordering, identify the area, the planned thickness, the exact product’s intended use and the protection the finished assembly requires.
The kits above are a starting point for product research. Use the project guides to understand the building, and the tools to organize measurements and quotes.
Your project, in order

Compare the price units - 03
What do you need?
Match the material, dispenser, and documents to the task.
Choose the format - 04
How should it be done?
Check surfaces, conditions, access, and the exact instructions.
Check readiness - 05
How long will it take?
Separate setup, application, cure, access, and finishing.
Plan the stages
BEFORE YOU BUY
A few useful answers.
Are these the same as two-component spray foam kits?
These are one-component, gun-applied surface-spray can kits. Two-component cylinder kits are a different product class. Check the exact product documents and choose the format your accessible surfaces and planned assembly require.
Does the kit price tell me what my whole project will cost?
A kit price covers one particular package. Your project budget also depends on net surface area, specified thickness, usable product yield, preparation, equipment, required protection and any hired labor. The budget tool uses your own quoted rate and keeps additional costs separate; it does not turn an advertised package yield into guaranteed coverage.
What should I check before ordering?
Confirm the intended application, the current label, technical data, safety data and required finish. Project conditions come before a product choice. Unknown moisture, concealed surfaces, equipment hazards or a whole-building scope need an appropriate professional assessment.
