Site Use and Limitations

Educational scope

Guides and tools provide general information for U.S. projects. They do not provide an on-site inspection, engineering design, medical diagnosis, installation certification, or a decision by a local code official. Read each answer with its conditions and sources. An independent specialist review is complete only where a named reviewer and a specific reviewed edition are actually identified.

Product and project decisions

Use the current instructions, label, TDS, SDS, and applicable evaluation reports for the exact product and assembly. A general guide cannot resolve a conflict in those documents. Ask the manufacturer, a qualified professional, or the relevant local authority before proceeding when the conditions are uncertain. Do not begin or continue work merely because a tool produces a result.

Calculations, saved records, and downloads

Calculations use the inputs and assumptions shown in the tool. They do not measure your building or determine a required R-value, safe application thickness, actual field yield, purchase quantity, or code compliance. Check measurements and arithmetic before using an estimate. Saved project records stay in the current browser profile; keep a downloaded copy if you need a durable record. Printing and downloading retain the tool’s stated boundaries.

Using and sharing the material

You may use the tools and print or download their outputs for your own project, or to discuss that project with your crew, contractor, client, or inspector. Keep the source, edition, and relevant limitations with excerpts you share. Contact us about republication of substantial guide text or illustrations. Manufacturer documents, product names, and other third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and terms.

Contact the seller or retailer for an order problem. Best Spray Foam shares ownership with this publication. Read the ownership and store-link disclosures before using a product link.

Corrections, privacy, and urgent concerns

Report an incorrect statement or product identity through Corrections. Use Contact for private rights or publication inquiries, and read Privacy before sending personal information. These channels are not monitored as emergency services. For an immediate health or safety concern, seek appropriate local medical or emergency help.

Changes and limits

Information and external links can change, and mistakes can occur. We do not promise that a guide, estimate, or linked product will be suitable for every project. We correct substantiated errors through the published process. Nothing on this page removes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
